Terms and Conditions

For the purposes of the Consumer Protection (distance selling) Regulations 2000.
In the event that your application is accepted you must pay the fees for your chosen course in full prior to attending (unless agreed prior with The Advanced School of Clinical Hypnotherapy (ASCH) in writing). Failure to do so will result in suspension or expulsion from the course and may lead to legal action to recover any outstanding debt.

You have the right to cancel a course; we will accept cancellation up to and including the first day on which you attend your course, unless it is a course of less than three days duration in which case you may cancel within 7 days of the start date.

If you choose to cancel your course, a full refund, less a £75 administration fee, will be made by the same method payment used to purchase your course.
Your monies will be refunded within 5 (five) working days of receipt of your written cancellation notice.

Refunds of course fees, whether in full or in part, cannot be made after the agreed guarantee date has passed.

However, should you have made payment in full and then need to postpone your start date for whatever reason, we will make every effort to accommodate you into another course intake of the same type up to one year after initial booking. In the event that the fees for your chosen course have increased we will honour the rate you have paid, provided payment was received in full prior to you postponing your attendance.

In either event your statutory rights are not affected.

Course material is protected by copyright and must not be copied (except for personal study) or distributed to third parties not enrolled on the course. If you decide to cancel your booking all course materials must be returned on the same day and electronic copies destroyed.

In entering into this agreement, you agree to your details being maintained on a database for the purposes of training and professional development. You understand and agree that all electronic and written material becomes and remains the school’s intellectual property and may be used as required for future training, feedback, testimonials and/or promotional purposes.

You agree to allow photographs and/or video recordings which may be taken in classes to be used to promote the school and you give your unconditional express permission for such use and waive any rights you may have to copyright or any form of financial recompense.

DBS check (formerly called CRB): if you know or suspect you may not pass an enhanced DBS check then ASCH is unable to accept your application.

ASCH reserves the unconditional right to refuse any trainee access to or continuance on any course if it is deemed to be in your or our best interest to do so. Professional conduct is expected of all course attendees and intimidatory, libellous, slanderous or seditious behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in expulsion from the course.

In entering this agreement you also agree to adhere to the responsibilities as laid out in the Trainee Charter and Cohort Ground Rules. Failure to do so will not be tolerated and may result in expulsion from the course.

While all efforts will be made to resolve any dispute, all decisions on expulsion lie solely with the Directors of ASCH.
