Canterbury, Kent, January 5, 2017 – Preliminary results of a study conducted at the University of Kent show that group clinical hypnotherapy sessions can reduce stress and anxiety levels in students…
The pilot research project continues, and we ran the first two group sessions for 2017 this week. There will be five group sessions in all for these students over the next two weeks. Already we are getting some very exciting and promising results.
ASCH is committed to the advancement of Clinical Hypnotherapy & NLP and it is projects like this which will help Clinical Hypnotherapy to emerge and take its rightful place in complimentary healthcare. At the same time it will provide greater career opportunities for professional Clinical Hypnotherapists.
There is plenty to do; just look at the following statistic:
Research carried out by the National Union of Students (NUS) in 2015 found that 78% of students experience mental health problems, of which over half were caused by exam-related stress.
It is my intention to offer a CPD course later this year for those of you who would like to train for this specialist work in schools & universities. I will keep you informed. In the meantime, I will be very pleased for you to register your interest, comments and any questions you may have.
